We left the road early in the morning. The road
was long and tiring, but we spent it laughing and talking. We were very excited
and could not wait to get to the place and meet new friends.
Upon arrival we were tired but delighted with
the city and the hotel.

After eating a delicious breakfast we went to
the Republic square where we met with almost all the participants of the
project. We could get to know Pilsen a little bit, thanks to an organized quiz,
a visit to the beautiful synagogue, the tallest tower, and the amazing
cathedral. A bit tired of this day, but we returned to the hotel happy.

On Friday we had
a breakfast at 7.30 am. Then we went to Cesky Krumlov which is located in South
Bohemia. This town is a part of the World Cultural Heritage. Cesky Krumlov
was small but filled with beautiful views and archaic buildings. Visiting
this place was extremely amazing for us. After spending 3 hours there, we went
to the Village Holasovice by bus. It is also a part of the World Cultural
Heritage. Village Holasovice was build in the 13th century for
farmers to show off and compete who had more money. In the 16th
century almost all of them died and it has become a special place. After
visiting both places, we came back to Pilsen. The day was extremely tiring.
Part of us was so tired, while the second part could not wait to visit next
attractions.
We started this great Saturday with breakfast
at 8:00.
We than left the hotel at 9am and walked to the
Pilsner Urquell brewery.
When we arrived we got split in two groups;
professors and coordinators, and stduents.
When the tour strarted we first heard some
history behind the brewery and how it had developed trought the years. Also why
is it so important. Then we continued the tour and first saw the micro brewery,
which held 100litles per batch. We even took a closer look at the 4 main
ingredients of beer!
When the tour was over we had some time to buy
some souveniers, and go to lunch.
After that we had a good hour to rest, and then
we hit the road again with our bus and drove to the Chateau Kozel. The drive
wasnt too long. When we arrived, we had some time to look around the beautiful
garden. Then we got splih in 3 groups and waited for our turn to enter; we were
in the second group with the Portugal team. And to be honest, this was one of
the best tours we've been on. The room's were beautiful and very interesting to
see.
When the tour was over, we head back to Pilsen
and got a few hours for shopping before dinner. Than, after dinner we head back
to the hotel, and went to bed.

And here we are, on our very last day of the
project. We started today a little later, with breakfast around 8 and departure
from the hotel at 9am. We got on our bus and drove to Švihov. The drive wasn’t
too long, around 30 minutes.
When we arrived, our coordinators got tickets
for us, we got split in two groups and entered the castle. We were in the first
group with Italy’s team, and with Slovenian students. One of the most
interesting parts of the tour was when our guide opened every door to each room
with an old, big key, similar to the ones used back in the day. The castle
itself was build somewhere in the middle of the 13th -14th century on an old
fortress. During the tour we could admire old rooms and furniture. We had a
great deal of room with all our military equipment. We could also see the dance
and play rooms and the chapel that was in the castle.
When the tour was over we drove to lunch, and
we all agreed that it was one of the best ones this week; it was more so in the
style of old America/texas, but we enjoyed the food anyway!
After lunch we drove back to Pilsen, where we
planned on playing some football but then we found out that the field we had
planned on visiting was occupied. We have a lot of time so we decided to use it
to pack it. After packing things we went for supper.
It was the last official Erasmus + TWLUWS
dinner. At the end of the dinner every coordinator from every country said some
last words and it was really nice and little emotional.
Monday, MAY 15, 2017
And here we are, our departure day. We woke up
around 6:30 to finish up packing and cleaning the rooms a bit. Then we had our
last breakfast at 7:00am.
After breakfast we went to Mariánské Lázně,
Czech Republic, where the rest of the town was located. During the tour with
the Portuguese group we were able to try different waters with different
properties. We saw the sights and important buildings.
For lunch we went to the hotel school. He was
delicious. For a long time we left the Portuguese group and set off for our
beloved home.
